Scholarships at Rashtriya Military Schools
According to official report available in the prospectus of RMS issued at the time of online application, following is the text on “Scholarships at Rashtriya Military Schools”
15% of the non-entitled cadets (i.e. wards of service officer and civilians) in the school are awarded means-cum-merit scholarships on the basis of a common scholarship test conducted by the Army Headquarters.
The scholarships are awarded as per following rules:
- Full remission of the tution fee in the case of those cadets whose parent’s income is less than ₹3,00,000/- in a financial year.
- Fees at half rates are charged from cadet whose parents income exceeds ₹ 3,00,000/- but is not more than ₹ 4,50,000/- in the financial year.
Rashtriya Military Schools fee structure for academic year 2026
Military Schools provide a subsidised education & schooling for wards of defence personnel (70% seats), officers (20% seats) and civilians (10% of total seats).
