To qualify for admission in Sainik Schools a candidate must secure a minimum of 25% marks in each subject of the exam and 40% marks in aggregate of all the subjects of AISSEE. However, no minimum marks are prescribed for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe category.
If you want to claim benefit of State quota, then yes Domicile certificate is necessary at the time of online application form submission. If you do not apply using domicile certificate, then automatically you will be assigned ‘other state’ quota of given Sainik School.

Eligible limit for eye sight for Sainik school admission is from +1.5 to -1.5 for both eyes. Corrective eye glasses within above range are allowed.
